By supporting the AAAMC through the donation of a collection or a financial contribution, you are joining the initiative to preserve and make accessible important cultural and historically significant materials that might otherwise be lost.
Financial contributions support the collection and preservation of the unique materials in the AAAMC. There are two ways to make gifts to secure the future of these collections.
1. Contribute to our current 30th anniversary crowdfunding campaign. Contributions can be made online through IU's secure giving site. Help us reach $30,000 in celebration of 30 years!
2. Secure donations to the AAAMC can be made online through the IU Foundation. After following the link, go to the “Make a Selection” drop down list and select “Museums and Libraries.” Then enter "Archives of African American Music and Culture Enrichment Fund" in the "Search all funds" box to specify AAAMC as the recipient of your gift.
3. Join the AAAMC Circle of Friends by printing, completing, and mailing this PDF form.
Please contact us if you wish to discuss funding opportunities related to specific collections, projects, or facilities.
AAAMC welcomes donations and bequests of research materials, particularly photographs, film and video footage, interviews, recordings, scores, and original musical and print manuscripts on all aspects of African American music, Black radio, and other forms of cultural expression.
